This week, I completed the final parts of task 1.2 and task 3.1, for the first task it was to write about the geographical location of Bournemouth and include information about why I am researching the town, what there is to do in the town, what the town is well known for, what the most reasonable/affordable housing in the town is (one bedroom flat), what the other cost of living in the town are (travel to get to and from Bournemouth) and where the town is on the map and in the UK. I went into quite a bit of detail on this part of the task partly because I feel like I didn't make the first part of the task detailed enough so I decided to do a good amount of research for this part in order to feel pleased with what I have produced for the task as a whole. Then, for the final part of task 3.1 I created a LinkedIn and evidenced it in a blog post as well as on my homepage too.
The LinkedIn account I created includes the UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Film and TV Production qualification and the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Media Production with Honours. It states that I live in Nottingham currently but once I move to Bournemouth next academic year it will say that I live in Dorset, England, United Kingdom which will indicate that I have moved to Bournemouth and I am studying the course that is listed under the 'Education' section. Overall, I feel like I have used the week wisely and while I might not have been able to finish all of the unit 11 tasks this week, I have two of them left to finish and I plan to get them done to a good standard by next Friday with every part of all of the tasks being done and put under the correct category with clear titles so it is easy to identify which blog post comes under which task so it can be marked without any issues and any parts of the tasks that need to be improved can be found easily by me, the tutors and the moderator as well.
