Weekly Reflection- Week 2 (Dystopian Film Essay) Lesson 3

On Tuesday 19th November we had our 2nd lesson for unit 9 with Faye and I spent the lesson making final edits to my Dystopian Futures essay that I completed at the weekend and partly on Monday too. In the essay I cover the four different types of societal controls which are corporate control, bureaucratic control, technological control and philosophical or religious control, what they mean and which ones are found in the dystopian films that I watched and analyzed. I also correctly referenced all the sources I used using Harvard Referencing and put them all in a bibliography and cite them in my essay when I mention what the citations are referring to. I also added three appendices with three images from the three different dystopian films that I watched for my essay and put in brackets after each paragraph which appendix to see for an image from the film that I'm talking about in the paragraph. After that I submitted my essay via Turnitin and added screenshots of my first and second draft onto my Wix website under my Unit 9 category. I am very happy with the quality of my essay and how organized I have been with it as the deadline is Thursday at 11:59pm and I have finished it with two days to spare so I am proud of myself for working hard to get it done as quickly and as well as I have done and now there is nothing left I need to do for Unit 9 that I have been given to do or have been told to complete.
