Weekly Reflection- Week 4 (Don't Dream It, Be It) Lesson 2

On Tuesday 3rd December we had our 2nd lesson on the Secret Cinema part of unit 9 and to begin the lesson each group pitched their idea for the Secret Cinema and my group's film The Polar Express was voted the winner. Once it was announced that our group's pitch was the winner we then elected a producer who everyone decided should be Ella due to her undoubtedly being the most organized person in the class with the best leadership skills too. She started by making me the Sub Team Leader of Interactive Actors as well as giving me the role of Santa Claus, the role of Sub Team Leader of Set and Prop Designers was given to Robyn and the role of Sub Team Leader of the Marketing Team was given to Bela. The Catering Team consists of Harry, Fiona and Whitney. The Main Members of the Interactive Actors are Matt as The Conductor, Rory as Mrs Claus as well as Aidan and Reegan elves with Support Members Bela, Kinga and Ella as children wearing pyjamas alongside Sam as Billy the Lonely Boy and Harry as Know-It-All. Main Members of the Set and Prop Designers are Kinga and Sam with Jack being a Support Member of the team. The Marketing Team includes Jack and Tenzin as Main Members and Aiden is the sole member of the Audio Visual Team as the Audio Visual Head. I also created an outline of E170 on a piece of paper on the board which the Set and Prop Designers added to with their idea of how the room will be set out and what props and decorations will be where. I was also in charge of finding out all of the prices for the costumes that we need and where they will be from and the information was gathered and then put into a spreadsheet by Ella detailing the piece of costume being bought and for how much it is being bought for as well. Overall, I feel like we are at a good place with where we are in the planning of our interactive screening of The Polar Express and I am feeling a lot more confident with how successful our Secret Cinema will end up being and how good the quality of it will be.
