Weekly Reflection- Week 8 (Don't Dream It, Be It) Lesson 6

On Tuesday 14th January what I did during the lesson was add pictures to my Interactive Screening Report of the allergies and dietary preferences or requirements survey, the poster, the Facebook event and the results from the feedback sheet. I also annotated all of the pictures that I added to my report so that it was clear that what I had talked about in previous paragraphs and in paragraphs to come was the pictures that I annotated with the appropriate description. I had finished the whole of my Interactive Screening Report before the lesson this week so what I also did was reference The Polar Express the first time it is mentioned with an in-text citation and I put it into my bibliography too. I also completed a theory weekly reflection from Thursday 14th November as it appeared I had forgotten to make it when the lesson originally happened so instead I made it now as I went over what was covered in the emergency lunch time including the advanced theory, what types of four societal controls we should include in our essay? Also, which societal types are present in the films we have chosen and does the film portray a modern day dystopia that it's too far out of the realm of possibility? How do the systems of control shown in the films reflect the fears of society at the time of the production? We were told that our essay must answer all of these questions and use at least one of the advanced theories mentioned depending on the films that we choose to do as part of our essay. Overall, I think that this lesson was very useful and it left me assured that I will have all of the work uploaded to my Wix blog by the deadline without a doubt and the other two theory weekly reflections I need to get done I will finish as well.
