On Tuesday 10th December in Faye's lesson in the morning we continued to prepare for our Interactive Screening on Tuesday 17th December by going to Luvyababes to buy the elf costumes, Santa Claus costume, conductor costume and Mrs Claus costume we need for the Interactive Screening. I changed into my Santa Claus costume when we returned to college to see how it looked and whether I need to add any other accessory to my costume to make sure that it fits the way it should do and that I look as much like Santa Claus as I can. Rory, Matt, Aiden and Reegan also changed into their costumes to see how they looked and whether they all fitted properly. Then, after it was made sure that everyone had paid their part equally and all of the costumes were put in a safe place so that we know where they are for the Interactive Screening. Then, in the afternoon in Rob's lesson I started completing my UCAS Application Form because the way in which I had done the UCAS process myself was I had spent a whole month perfecting my personal statement and making sure it was of a quality I was proud of and of one that the UCAS advisor Amy Baulcombe thought it was as good as it could be and I'm very glad it reached that quality. I was able to complete the first two sections of the UCAS Application Form in this session.
On Thursday in Marissa's session I started editing my video Installation which I spent the whole lesson doing and I spent a bit of the time after the lesson editing it as well until my laptop which I was editing it on ran out of battery and because I started editing on Adobe Premiere Pro 2020 I was unable to edit on any of the college computers as the latest version on them is Adobe Premiere 2019 so I had to stop unfortunately. However, on Friday I finished my week at college of by coming in to finish off the UCAS Application Form as I finished off the sections that were left for me to do as I had completed two more on Wednesday so I finished the other sections and asked Rob to check over everything to make sure it was acceptable to send it off and pay the £25.00 required needed to do so. Overall, I am very pleased with the work I completed this week but mainly the work I finished for UCAS without a doubt as it was done before the deadline which I'm very happy about and it includes my personal statement which I am especially proud of so if there are any issues when Rob reviews them as the referee then I will work as hard as I have to in order to rectify any problems with it so it can be sent off as soon as it possibly can be after I have fixed the issues and although I did not get as much of my video installation edited as I wanted to I feel like I'm going to change it quite a lot anyway so it doesn't really matter as it will be almost unrecognizable once I start working on it and edit it into what I feel replicates the aesthetic and idea that I have in my head for what I truly want my video installation to look like and the message I want it to portray as well as how I want my work to portray it which I will make sure I achieve.
