On Monday 10th February I continued completing research for the documentary as I worked on the contextual research for the whole of that day to make it as detailed and insightful as it ended up becoming due to how much time I spent working on it. I also made notes on the documentaries Is It Worth It and For One Night Only (as well as the film based on the documentary Hasta La Vista) Then, on Tuesday I made a targeted questionnaire and I made notes on the documentary Soaked in Bleach also as part of research for the documentary as the questions included on the questionnaire are heavily related to the concept of the documentary and Soaked in Bleach is about looking at the suicide of Kurt Cobain and determining whether it truly was a suicide or whether his wife Courtney Love had a part in his death with him supposedly being murdered or assassinated rather than him killing himself which is the verdict that was reached on the case. On Wednesday I added the formative research that Harry had completed to my primary and secondary research blog and the audience profiling Sam finished too, but as well as that I added pre-production to my blog including the contributor release forms, shooting schedule, call sheet, floor plan and location recce and I altered the contextualisation of the genre of documentary post so that I am analyzing the way in which the pieces of music that I have identified in the post inspired me to create the documentary and elements of the way the music mentioned makes me feel as well.
Except for attempting to get all of the edit done for Thursday which is when the original deadline was set for until Rob moved it to next Friday (21st February), I didn't do a lot more work for the rest of the week except working on my edit during Marissa's lesson and for the rest of the week. Overall, I'm pleased with the work I was able to complete this week as I feel like the work I did was of a good quality that I am happy with and I believe that my final edit of the documentary, the editing blog for the documentary, the evaluation for the documentary and the feedback blog post for the documentary will be of the same standard as I plan to put just as much effort into them as I put into the work I produced this week too.
