On Monday 16th September from 12:00pm I helped another group with their picture postcard project by acting in it and filming in five different locations. The 5 different locations were the steps by Nottingham Contemporary, Green Square Park and Garden, graffiti wall (Old Lenton Street), The Arboretum and Clarendon Street (next to the graveyard). We finished filming around 4:25pm and they took the camera and tripod home with them. On Tuesday during Faye's lesson however, my group filmed our picture postcard project from 10:30am to 12:30pm where we got all the shots we needed to get for our main footage on top of the Lace Market Car Park and we added stock footage (B-roll) in our own edits of the picture postcard so that we could use different stock footage than each other and also use the footage we filmed ourselves in order to create our own picture postcards rather than creating three identical edits that are essentially the same thing. The shots we filmed were Jack walking in front of the wall facing Fletcher Gate, lighting and then smoking a cigarette, breathing smoke from cigarette from out of his mouth, leaning on the wall and smoking a cigarette, stubbing a cigarette out and walking away (out of shot) and a shot of the sun behind the clouds. Rob's lesson in the afternoon didn't go very well for me because for the whole lesson I was trying to get onto Adobe Premiere Pro 2019 but failing to do so until the end of the lesson by which time there was no time to actually edit anything so I edited it all at home on Adobe Premiere Pro 2019, added all of the audio and effects onto the right footage and in sync as well, rendered all of the picture postcard and exported it into MP4 file and put it onto my hard drive. Then, during tutorial with Marissa once I had completed the GCSE Maths part of the diagnostics tests we have to do I put it up on YouTube as an unlisted video which means you're able to view the video if you have the link for it. I completed my location recce (on my blog), filming blog, editing blog and final edit blog Thursday evening as well and I will complete the GCSE English part of the diagnostics tests next week to finish all of them off. Overall I think this week went well and I am happy with what I achieved during it and what I created and helped create too as I feel like I used the time that I had this week wisely and smartly.
